The Ohio Society of sbf111胜博发' endorsement program is an important foundation of the Society’s advocacy work. It helps inform sbf111胜博发 about candidates who listen to and support the concerns of the accounting profession and business community and heightens awareness among candidates about the Society's key issues.
The Society's statewide screening committee evaluates candidates for the respective races on behalf of OSCPA members. Candidates were endorsed based on their responses to our candidate questionnaire on key issues of importance to our profession and Ohio business community. The committee also took into account their voting record, working relationship with OSCPA, background and electability. The Society’s Executive Board separately considered and approved the endorsements.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2-1 Wednesday that Attorney General Dave Yost must forward a proposed constitutional amendment on qualified immunity on to the next step in the ballot initiative process, but Yost's office said Thursday he will ask the full appellate court to review that ruling.
